Fuck the Rock & Roll Revolution!... It was the year 2003 and Texas Terri (formerly Texas Terri & the Stiff Ones) was kickin' and screamin' -- shedding her skin like a snake! Time had come for a change and it came -- Texas Terri Bomb! was born! And she's on the go again coming to Europe Oct/Nov/Dec for another full on not to be missed tour. Texas Terri's street credibility puts her miles above others. Originally from Austin, TX, now established in Los Angeles, CA -- she has toured the U. S. and Europe and has songs and roles in several movies. Texas Terri has earned her title as "underground legend" in the punk rock & roll world and it is clearly evident in her songs and her stage presence. Her voice and persona is tough girl attitude with sex kitten charisma and every emotion in between. Texas Terri will steal your heart away and you will not want her to give it back! Always fresh and full of spontaneity with that early NYC / CBGB edge -- Texas Terri has been compared to the likes of Iggy Pop, Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler, Wendy O. Williams, Joan Jett, Brody (Distillers) -- but she still has the distinction of holding her own individuality. In this world of pre-fab music -- why settle? Aren't you hungry for more? Let the Rock & Roll run through your veins! Get some and get it now! Texas Terri Bomb! full length record, "Your Lips...My Ass!" was released on both cd/vinyl in April/May of 2004 by TKO Records (for N. America) and People Like You Records (for Europe). The CD was produced by world renowned Jack Douglas (Aerosmith, John Lennon, Cheap Trick, Alice Cooper, Patti Smith, New York Dolls). Some special guests joined in for the recordings including Wayne Kramer (MC5), Marc Diamond (Dwarves/Motochrist), Dave Teague (Dickies), Ryan Roxie (Alice Cooper) and Cherie Currie (The Runaways) sings a duet with Texas Terri on the Thin Lizzy song "The Rocker". Texas Terri has one previous CD release with Texas Terri & the Stiff Ones, "Eat Shit +1" and has released several split 7". Texas Terri has songs on many compilations and has guest appearances on many other artists records including duets with Duane Peters of Die Hunns and Gerry of the Bulemics. Texas Terri and her band performed the song "Oh Yeah" in the movie "Prey for Rock & Roll", starring Gina Gershon, Drea Matteo, & Lori Petty that was released in Oct. 2003 and is now available on DVD. There are at least 4 movies this year alone that will be released featuring her songs. TxT is currently writing new songs for another full length for release in 2007. She will have new unreleased material available on cd for the upcoming Euro tour. O.k. -- enough of this name dropping, prove it bullshit...Texas Terri works her ass off. She loves to rock. She loves to tour………….. and she wants it all! What more could you ask for? Press Quotes: "(Texas Terri), now that's the real deal. That's what Courtney wants to be. You know what I'm sayin'? Heralding from the underground music scene of Hollywood, California, Texas Terri WILL entertain you. You WILL notice them. They WILL affect you. There is no escape." ~ Matt Harrell, That's Live.com "L.A.'s female Iggy Pop, Terri is hard-core, leaving a cigarette burn right through you heart." ~ Heidi Sigmund-Cuda, Pulse! Magazine (Tower Records) "A local favorite led by longtime scenester Texas Terri Laird, this venerable rock act comes on like The Stooges, albeit with Laird's whiskey throated voice in Iggy's stead." ~ Scot Lenz, Buzz Weekly "A truly kinetic and moving stage performer, Texas Terri is an impassioned punk rocker!" ~ Bruce Rorers, Maximum Rock & Roll
